Pink Ball Surprise Ladies Easter Scramble at the Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club
Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club recently hosted the Ladies Easter scramble (pink ball surprise) event.
This was the first event, and hopefully first of many in conjunction with Paul Bryan of “Envy Effect. The ladies turned out dressed for the occasion all looking pretty in pink with along with some fabulous Easter hats.
The ladies field was divided into three, three ball groups for the scramble format Easter competition. The course was as ever, in great condition and this set up for some fantastic scores. After some tough competition and some great golf it was less than five shots that decided between the top three places.
In third place, missing out on second by just 2.2 strokes but posting a very respectable net score of 71.4 was the team of Yuko Tsukiori, GA Cho and Kiyono Taniuchi. Finishing just above them and also in close contention for first with a commendable net score of 69.2 was the group of Paula Savage, Birthe Reinke and Aude Granzotto. But the winning group, edging out the competition with a fantastic score of 66.5 was the group of Annette Carstanjen, Chikako Inoue and Yumiko Inoue.
