Patterson dominates Abu Dhabi Golf Club August Anantara Powerplay open
Abu Dhabi Golf Club hosted the August edition of the Anantara Powerplay Open Night Golf Series. A total of 28 players from all over the UAE took part in the event, 23rd August, on a glorious evening at the Troon-managed club. In ideal playing conditions the scoring was very low and fiercely competitive at the top of the leader board.
With an excellent score of 30 Stableford points, Lee Patterson took the August title and his second Powerplay Open by three shots from Wanni Jefferson, who was runner-up for the second month running after posting a score of 27 points. Third place went to Ahmed Al Hendasi who scored an excellent 26 points.

The next event in the series will take place on Thursday 13th September with a 6.30pm shotgun start. Thursday’s event is sponsored by Desert Islands Resort & Spa by Anantara with a two night stay with flights from Abu Dhabi to Sir Bani Yas Island for two people up for grabs.
