Park Packs a Punch In Powerplay Stableford at Tower Links Golf Club
J.I. Park has contracted that rare tropical disease called winning as he once again put in a superb performance to win the midweek Powerplay stableford at Tower Links Golf Club.
Park is a model of consistency and rarely features out of the prizes with Wednesday’s performance including two nett birdies and a nett eagle.
The format doubles your stableford points if you score a nett birdie or better and Park finished with 29 points in total, taking full use of his chosen powerplay holes.?? Young Nam Chang continued the Korean flavor at the top of the leaderboard falling just 1 point short of the huge total set by Mr. Park.
Young Nam made a mess of the tricky Par 5, 13th after some wayward driving which resulted in her not recording any points but fought back with a strong challenge over her remaining five holes.
Anupma Kotwal finished in third place with 26 points despite a slow run through holes thirteen to sixteen but took revenge on hole seventeen with a tasty 8 point haul.??
