Park KO Plant and De Vries star in BMW Members event at Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club

The pairings of J. S. Park (10), J. N. Ko (11) and Ian Plant (4) and newcomer Jessie De Vries (36) starred in SGSC’s June edition of the BMW Members & Guest Social event.

The Korean pairing romped an opening 9 holes to an unmatched total of net 29 in the Betterball Medal format.  For the tournaments 2nd loop of 9 Jessie De Vries, a former tennis professional, produced an impressive competitive debut performance, ably assisted by in form partner Ian Plant. The Belgian/British combination  equaled the Korean’s total on 29 in the 2 ball, foursomes format.
 
Novelty prizes went to Peter Van Wyk and new member Mark Dupree who secured nearest the pins prizes and Roy Holmes who muscled his way to a win in the longest drive event.
