Nicoll makes it 3 in a row at the IP GLOBAL ABU DHABI PGA OPEN

The IP GLOBAL ABU DHABI PGA OPEN was played recently in near perfect conditions at the splendid setting of the Saadiyat Beach Golf Club.

With perfect scoring conditions greeting the players it was no surprise to see two of this season’s form players go low on the beautifully conditioned course.

Making it 3 Order of Merit event wins in a row and a combined 16 under par for the last 3 rounds of the season Callum Nicoll displayed another fine round of golf taking this years title with a superb round of 66 (-6). The runner-up place went to Martyn Hamer who climbed up one place in the Order of Merit to 4th with an equally impressive 69 (-3). With the only counting event remaining being the PGA Championship the places for the Dubai Golf Trophy team became very competitive with multiple changes in the top 10 and top 20 players, with extra points available at the PGA Championship there will be all to play for to grab the last of the top 14 automatic team spots.

The full results from today and updated Order of Merit are on the attached files.
