Muscat Hills Golf and Country Club Oman

Muscat Hills Golf Course was the vision of the late His Highness Kais Bin Tarik Al Said. It is the first 18 hole grassed golf course to be built in the Sultanate of Oman.

Designed by Paul Thomas of David Thomas and Associates the 72-par, 6383 meter golf course is uniquely designed over 45 hectors of land that boasts sea views and a spectacular back drop of the Al Hajar Mountains. The course is landscaped in and around the natural Wadi terrain offering generous fairways and challenging shots over the wadi escarpments.

The course offers 5 teeing ground options and therefore caters to a wide range of golfing ability, with the main challenge coming from three of our par-3 holes that are played over the dramatic wadi escarpment. Members and regular visitors often comment on the fairness of the design of the course and how the course makes you want to come back time and time again.

Complementing the Championship course is our comfortable club house and excellent practice facilities that feature a spectacular 400-meter floodlit driving range with undercover tee off area and a putting green for members and guests to practice on throughout the day and into the late evenings. The Academy offers state-of-the-art equipment under the tutorship of qualified PGA professionals who offer a wide range of tuition services using the latest cutting edge technologies of eCoaching with swing video analysis, Flight Scope, Sam Putt Lab to mention but a few. Muscat Hills is conveniently situated 5 minutes from Muscat International airport in the Seeb District of Muscat city and within easy reach of Muscat’s 4 and 5 star hotels.
