Murray untouchable in the Men’s Division second Ballentine’s Stableford Eclectic at Al Ghazal Golf Club

Last Friday the Al Ghazal Golf Club Murray Brown scored an incredible 45 points to win the Men’s Division second Ballentine’s Stableford Eclectic.  Runner up was the previous week’s winner Walter Tiamfook with 41 from third placed Steve Coulson on 37 points.

The AGGC Stableford Eclectic running competition sponsored by Ballentine’s and Gray Mackenzie is being played throughout the 2011/12 golfing season.  Competitors hope to improve their hole by hole scores each time they play in the running event.  At the end of the season the player with the most overall points / best score will be crowned the Ballentine’s Stableford Eclectic 2012 Ladies and Men’s Champions.

The Ladies winner also with an impressive 41 points was current Club Champion Lizette Breytenbach. 

2’s Club winners were Lizette Breytenbach, Abdul-Rahman Al Laggitti, Ibrahim Al Marzouqi and Bernie Blanchard.

Captain Peter McManus announced the winners and Adam Pomeroy distributed the prizes on behalf of Gray Mackenzie and Ballentine’s.
