Born in St. Andrews, Mike has spent most of his life at the home of golf. Introduced to the sport at the age of 12 when he joined St. Andrews Golf Club, he has enjoyed and played the game ever since.
On turning Professional in 1999, Mike joined the golf staff at the Old Course Hotel Golf Resort & Spa St. Andrews, where he was based at the award winning Dukes Course. He successfully completed his PGA training at the Dukes and won the prestigious Scottish Trainee Professional of the year award in 2003. Having enjoyed his first taste of life in the Middle East, Mike joined the outstanding team of professionals at Dubai Creek in September 2007. Mike has great experience in teaching golf to players of all ages and abilities and he continues to look forward to helping all the Club's members and guests with their golf games.
