Mike Dunn Claims Crans Sur Sierre Trophy

Mike Dunn produced a magical performance to claim the first major members’ fixture of the year, The Crans Sur Sierre Trophy. The key Al Hamra Golf Club fixture, which started back in 2010, sees the winners name added to the Swiss music box which was kindly donated by the President of Crans Sur Sierre Golf Club in Crans Montana, Switzerland.

Mike got off to a flying start with 2 net birdies and a net eagle on his front nine for 21 points. With his putter on absolute fire and holing putts from everywhere, Mike followed his great front nine with a solid back nine of 19 points and subsequent 40 point total. This resulted in a 5 point winning margin from his nearest competitor and runner-up Eui Yong Jeon.

Third place required a massive 6-way card playoff between Oli Spencer, Maggie Neil, Ian Fada, Bill Grosser, Jae Woong Lee, and Richard Cuddihy. With the best back nine scores only being 18 points, Oli finally found himself on the winning side of a card play-off collecting the last of the main prizes.
