Schedule: September 25 to 28 — First event at Saadiyat Beach Golf Club in Abu Dhabi. Prize money US$50,000.
October 2 to 5 – Second event at Tower Links Golf Club in Ras Al Khaimah. Prize money $50,000
October 9 to 12 – Third event at Al Badia Golf Club, Dubai. Prize money $50,000.
October 16 to 19 – Tour Championship at Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting and Golf Club. Prize money $75,000.
Tournament entries — Open on July 1
Standard starting field — 100 players including invited MENA members and host countries and the field ‘make-up’ is 60 per cent Professionals and the rest Amateurs. In the event of a tournament being oversubscribed, the first 90 (50 professionals and 40 amateurs) entries will automatically be accepted and the balance will compete in a pre-tournament qualifying event for the remaining ten places (5 professionals and 5 amateurs).
Special features – The tour is open to both professionals and amateurs (handicap one and below). Affiliated to R&A, the worldwide golf governing body based at St Andrews, and the Arab Golf Federation. Each tournament will receive official R&A recognition and carry World Amateur ranking points.
