Martin becomes March Rosewood Bowl Champion at Saadiyat Beach Golf Club

Saadiyat Beach Golf Club was pleased to congratulate first-time winner Steve Martin as their March Rosewood Bowl Champion.

It was a tight tussle for the title which Steve claimed with an impressive net score of 76, beating two-time champion Colin Mann by one shot. Collin is still aiming to become the all-time winner of the Rosewood Bowl monthly medal, having won the event twice along with Ken Johnstone.

Steve, who has a handicap of 12.6, was delighted to have his name etched onto the brilliant Rosewood Bowl Trophy and attributed his win to his golf lesson at Saadiyat Beach Golf Course.

“It has been a very long time since I won anything,” said Steve.  To win a tournament at Saadiyat Beach Golf Club is very special. Perhaps that golf lesson was worth it after all!”

The next Rosewood Bowl will be on Saturday 13th April, 2013.
