Malaysia truly Asia confirm Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club order of merit sponsorship

Malaysia Truly Asia and Malaysia Airlines have confirmed their sponsorship of the Sharjah Golf & Shooting Clubs 2014/15 Net and Gross Order of Merits. The two Order of Merits run over the 8 monthly medals running from October until May with points being awarded for the players finishing positions.
 
The 3 leading net players and top gross player will represent the Sharjah Golf & Shooting Club and the UAE in the World Amateur Inter Team Golf Championship (WAITGC) in July 2015. 5 WAITGC qualifiers are staged around Malaysia throughout the year with the leading 3 teams from each qualifying for the final in November.
 
Director of Malaysian Tourism Mr. Mohammed Taib commented at the announcement “We are delighted to be sponsoring the Sharjah Golf & Shooting Clubs two Order of Merits. The WAITGC events are a great opportunity for golfers from around the world to come and sample golf in Malaysia.  The events are always hosted at championship courses and use a two best scores from 4 net Stableford format. Malaysia Airlines will be flying the 3 qualifiers to Kuala Lumpur and Malaysian Tourism will host the delegation and run the event”. Martin Duff, SGSC Director of Golf added “I had the pleasure of attending one of the WAITGC events in September. The facilities, event organization and hospitality extended was second to none.
