Lida Hoekstra wins the Ladies November stroke play Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club

Lida Hoekstra wasted no time in getting her first victory of the season as she finished strongly beating Kiyono Taniuchi into 1st place with a fantastic net 72.  Hoekstra finished the last three holes level par and took 1st place on a count-back over the last 9 holes. 

After being presented her prize Hoekstra commented; “Firstly I would like to say that I am very happy to win today and I always enjoy this challenging and beautiful course. I managed a good finish which consisted of an unlikely birdie at the 16th and a par on the demanding 17th ”.  New Dubai Creek member Daniella Sacchini was even quicker into winning ways as she made a solid net 74 to take 2nd runner-up spot in only her first ladies event.

After conducting the prize giving Dubai Creek Professional Craig Waddell commented; “ It was great to see the ladies out there today enjoying the course in the cool conditions. The standard was very high and an extra special mention goes to our new member and runner up player, Daniella Sacchini”.
