Letts Team Triumph at the FIGS Golf Society outing at Jebel Ali Golf Resort and Spa

The summer edition of the FIGS Golf Society (Furniture & Interiors Golf Society) sponsored by Walter Knoll, was keenly contested once again round the tricky Resort course. The three man team of Rob Letts, Peter Bauer and Alistair Seivewright reigned supreme with a team score of 91 stableford points. Second place went to Martin Grove, Ajay Sajnani and Gary Vastag, a further 3 points adrift on 88 points. The third team prize went to Liam King, Brad Wylie and tournament organiser Nick Burnett. Alistair Seivewright capped off a successful afternoon by wining the Nearest to the Pin prize on the 8th Hole while Gary Vastag proved too accurate for the field on the 11th Hole winning the Nearest to the pin prize there. Special thanks go out to Walter Knoll for supporting the series of event for the FIGS society, leaders in Office furniture design and supply.

Jebel Ali Golf Course, based at the award winning Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa has previously hosted top legendary players including Tiger Woods and Ernie Els. The 9-hole, par 36, championship standard course is situated within the idyllic grounds of the resort. Designed by Peter Harradine and opened in 1998, each hole is uniquely landscaped with exotic trees, shrubs and original desert flora and also features a saltwater lake which comes into play on five holes. The wooden gazebos, views of the Arabian Gulf and peacocks which freely roam the fairways have added a special charm to this course that is a fair and exciting challenge for golfers of all abilities.
