Ladies October Medal and Luckiest Ball on Earth join together at Emirates Golf Club

Yoon and Argui found their luck was in during the October Monthly medal over the Majlis course.
A fantastic turnout of 60 ladies competed in the medal which also doubled up as a qualifier for the Luckiest Ball on Earth, an initiative of the Dubai World Championship, presented by DP World.

The ladies rose to the occasion with some fantastic scoring with Youngja Yoon signing for a net 62, the 29-handicapper demonstrated an excellent short game by paring 3 of the par fours. Her 12-under par tally was enough to win Bronze Division (handicap 24-42) by four shots from Janine Dols.
Silver B Division (handicap 15-23) also produced some excellent scores with Noemy Bertuol taking top prize with a 67 closely followed by Maura Duggan who was one shot further back in second.

Cornelia Ulm fired the best gross of the day, a superb 66 over the Karl Litten designed course, and her net 66 also won the net category in Silver ‘A’ Division (handicap 0-14). Najla Bartette claimed runners-up place on 68.

Youngja Yoon not only secured the best net score of the day but she also qualifies for the Luckiest Ball on Earth Grand Final to be held on Earth course, Jumeirah Golf Estates on Tuesday 15th November. In addition Soumaya Argui won a spot in the Grand Final by finding the Lucky Ball on the Driving Range prior to teeing off. Yoon and Argui will join 58 other qualifiers in the Grand Final with the winner gaining a coveted spot in the Rolex Pro-am to be held on Tuesday 6th December playing alongside one of the leading professionals in the world.
