Ladies Coffee Morning January Par 3 tournament at the Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club

Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht clubs Coffee morning ladies got 2013 off to an exciting start with the January Par 3 tournament and rules quiz. The 28 ladies battled it out on the Creeks tough par 3 course in a Texas scramble format followed by a rules quiz, where both scores were combined to determine the winning team.

Taking top honours on the day were Vivian Barrette, Jane Branch, Edith Neish and Johanna Griffin, playing under the aptly named, “Dream Team”, with a course score 25 and a rules score of 19. Second place was a close finish with the “blaze of glory” team consisting of Julie Gilroy, Glory Xavier, Kate Turner and Caroline Edmonstone beating the “Par-Tee Animals” team of Tonita Marr, Rachel Jones and Diane Rodgerson on a better course score of 24.

Finally it was a double celebration for Diane Rogerson as she picked up the closest the hole prize for a fantastic tee shot at the tough 5th hole.
Prizes on the day included a week’s gym pass, personal training sessions, leisure access and weekly passes to some of Dubai Creeks Fit-Lab classes as well as lots of beauty and hair products supplied by “Envy Effect Frizzgard”.
All prizes on the day were presented by Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club professional Craig Waddell who commented,
