Krefting claims the 2014 Emirates Golf Club Ladies Club Championship

On the 2nd and 3rd March , 47 Ladies competed on both the Faldo and Majlis courses playing 36 holes in order to be crowned the 2014 Ladies Club Champion.

Cecilie Krefting a 3 handicapper, who recently returned from the States after completing her degree, claimed the top spot with a gross score of 161 including 22 pars after consistent rounds of 80 and 81.

The runners up spot went to past captain Jenny Ayres with scores of 80 and 84 totalling 164.

In third place was Jayshree Gupta who finished up with a gross score of 167 after rounds of 85 and 82.
The best net score on day one was Elaine Belcher scoring a net 70 and the best gross score went to Rosemary Turlik scoring an 84.

Day two saw Margaret Breen score net 71 and Carolyn Thompson gross 80 as the best rounds of the day.
In the bronze division the winner of best net score over the 36 holes was Fiona Munro with rounds of 70 and 75 totalling 145.

In the silver division the winner of best net score over 36 holes was Elise Hanson with rounds of 69 and 74 totalling 143.
