Kotwal Cleans up in social stableford at Tower links Golf Club

Ajay Kotwal shot a blistering 25 stableford points to walk away a convincing winner in the social stableford on the 30th of February. Ajay simply had one of those rounds that everything he touched, turned to gold, or dare I say it, found its way into the hole.

Young Nam Chang found her way into second place after a crafty knock of 21 stableford points, which is just deserves for all the time and effort she puts into improving her game. Ray Labonte finished in third place with a healthy total of 20 stableford points, and could be one to watch in the upcoming Links Betterball.

Not wanting to take anything away from Ajay’s magnificent score, but the talk of the night was Roger Floyd’s magnificent hole in 1 on the 152 yard Par 3, 16th hole. Roger struck a glorious 8 iron into heart of the green and watched in anticipation as it trickled into the hole for one of those rare moments in golf.

Spooning on the night with a lack luster 6 stableford points was Mr. Gerry Gibson, who unfortunately could not be there to accept his reward, but he did ask his wife to stay behind and collect it for him……. Mighty big of you Mr. Gibson!!
