Kendall The Comeback King at Al Hamra Golf Club August Floodlit Challenge

John Kendall continued pretty much where he left of prior to his summer vacation by winning his first return Floodlit Challenge. He produced a fine performance of 22 points, collecting 4 net birdies and a net eagle on his way to his victory winning total.

His only slip up came at the 2nd Hole where he would fail to record any points, although this turned out to be irrelevant as his total still saw him finish two clear of runner-up Craig Mainey and his competition total of 20 points. Craig also had a somewhat turbulent round which only included 1 net par to go along with his 2 net eagles and 2 net birdies. Finishing third place and claiming the last of the main prizes was Matt Fountain on a total of 19 points, although he did have to beat Greg Hall over a back 6 card play-off as he to carded 19.

The two special events on the evening went to Diana Brown for her nearest the pin effort on Hole 4 and Craig Mainey for his nearest the pin effort on Hole 7. There were 3 two’s on the evening resulting in a three way split pot between Clive Rawlings, Matt Fountain and Craig Mainey.
