Keeping the Majlis Green

UAE Golf Online spoke to the superintendent of Emirates Golf Club and Dubai Creek Craig Haldane

The agronomy manager at any Golf Course sometimes does not receive the plaudits they deserve. Ultimately without there long hours of dedication none of us would be playing the game on the superbly manicured greens and fairways.
With so many championship courses and Golf events, creating the perfect layout and  “Keeping the Course green” has never been as challenging. Life at the Emirates Golf Club Majlis Course is no different as they are preparing for the return of the Omega Dubai Desert Classic.

UAE Golf Online spoke to the superintendent of Emirates Golf Club and Dubai Creek Craig Haldane to see how he and the team are coping with the event just around the corner.

“Middle East Golf Course maintenance is tough at certain times of the year. We did things slightly different this year we overseeded the Golf course later than we typically do.” Craig Haldane

We would like to thank Craig for his time with the event so close and wish him and his team good luck.
