Karlsson and Oschmann Arabian Ranches Lady Captains Day champions
Pernilla Karlsson & Ellie Oschmann were crowned Champions at ARGC on Friday, 15th February in Anne Hainey’s Lady Captains Day. The format for the event was combined stableford, which required both players to contribute in order for the team to have a chance of winning. Anne Hainey welcomed competitors on the 2nd Hole where they had the added option to use her tee shot if required.
On a perfect day with 84 competitors in the field the pair of Karlsson & Oschmann managed to post a brilliant score of 76 combined stableford points to claim the title.
Each competitor used his or her handicap index as the Tournament allowance.
The winners were impressive on their way to posting 76 points and win the title by two points from runners up Delia Fowler and Hilary Stokes. The Champions posted Individual scores of 32 (Karlsson) and 44 (Oschmann) points respectfully on their way to victory.
The pair did the bulk of their scoring on the front nine posting 43 and 33 on the inward half.
The prize presentation was conducted by Lady Captain Anne Hainey and Club Captain Eddie Ramage, who thanked all the players for a fantastic turnout and a wonderful day.
