Kapoor Clinches Chairman’s Cup at Emirates Golf Club

Anand Kapoor produced a terrific display of golf to win the Chairman’s Cup in the 25th Anniversary year of Emirates Golf Club.

The 14-handicapper signed for 42 points on the famous Majlis course to take a two stoke victory over his closest rival Kevin Roy. Choon Park was one of three players on 39 points but his better inward nine gifted him third place overall.

Handicap Division A (0-12) was keenly contested with scratch team player Paul Byrne and Stephen Jones both carding 38 points but it was Byrne’s 21 points on the back nine that secured 1st place in Division A.

Anil Sobti and Nelly Amarnani both fired 3-under par rounds of 39 points but Amarnani’s superior back nine gave him top prize in handicap division B (13-24).
