Jumeirah Golf Estates hosts its very own Masters competition and family day
Alongside the first major of the year, Jumeirah Golf Estates’ hosted its very own Masters competition and family day which was sponsored by BMW AGMC.
The tournament was played as a Betterball Stableford with 3 holes having a double point’s bonus pin location cut. Congratulations go out to the visiting team of Anne and Peter Bauer who returned a landslide of 60 Stableford points to claim victory, a true heroic performance by the pair.
The family pairing of Randeep and Sandeep Singh were runners up on the day with a superb score of 55 points. Claiming the final position on the podium following a card countback was the dynamic JGE members pairing of Damien Morgan and Stuart Cameron with a stellar 54 points.
The day’s side contest all held the prize of a weekend test drive of the new BMW 5 Series and the lucky winners were Damien Morgan, Paul Donovan, Kevin Lueders and Peter Mladenovic. Following the conclusion of the tournaments play, competitors and their family members enjoyed a sumptuous BBQ with numerous activities for both the young and old on and off the driving range.
The prizes were kindly awarded by visiting European Tour Professional Ignacio Garcia and despite the imminent hot weather all 106 of the day’s members and guest enjoyed the competitive golf, food and evenings activities!
