Jumeirah Golf Estates announces partnership with tennis specialists Excel Sports

Jumeirah Golf Estates announces a further expansion of its facilities and services by partnering with tennis specialists Excel Sports to operate the Tennis Academy at Jumeirah Golf Estates.

Excel Sports have commenced providing expert tennis coaching for advanced players, beginners and children. Their services include one-to-one lessons and a variety of classes with particular focus on younger tennis players. The Tennis Academy is located close to the Jumeirah Golf Estates Clubhouse and has two quality outdoor tennis courts.
Excel Sports was founded in 2005 by former ITF Junior Pro Ali Hasan and has quickly become one of Dubai’s premiere sports training establishments with professional and enthusiastic coaches from North America, Europe and Asia.  The team from Excel Sports at the Tennis Academy at Jumeirah Golf Estates will be headed up by Sean Medley, Tennis Director. Born in the United Kingdom, Sean is a highly qualified tennis coach with a career spanning nearly a decade across three continents.

The partnership adds to the already impressive facilities at Jumeirah Golf Estates and provides their Members and Home-owners with top-quality tennis coaching services.
This addition further enhances the facilities at Jumeirah Golf Estates which is home to two of the UAE’s most iconic golf courses Fire & Earth. In November 2013, the resort also opened the European Tour Performance Institute (ETPI) which has quickly become a benchmark as a centre of excellence for golf tuition, fitness and well-being in the region.

Earth Course hosts the DP World Tour Championship (November 20th to 23rd 2014) the season ending finale to the Race to Dubai. The tournament is the highlight of the European Tour calendar with a field consisting of the top 60 players on the European Tour.
