JR Kim Ladies monthly champion

JR Kim: Yesterday saw the Ladies Medal sponsored by Palazzo Versace take place at Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club. This monthly event sees the entire ladies section battle it out for some fantastic prizes provided by Palazzo Versace. This month was no different with over 15 ladies playing on the beautifully presented course to be titled the champion.

The winner of this month’s Medal was JR Kim after her score of 68 net (-3) was good enough to beat the field by one stroke. Kim’s back nine consisted of five pars which enabled her to finish strongly and claim this month’s title. In Division A, it was SA Jo who claimed the title after her score of 71 net (par) won the division by two strokes. In Division B the scoring was tight but it was Vice-Captain Lianne Scatterty who won after her round of 69 net (-2) beat Mini Philip by one stroke.

On the course there were four prizes up for grabs meaning some of the ladies still had a chance to go home with a prize. The Nearest to the Pin on the 5th was won by Glory Xavier. The Nearest the Pin on the 14th and nearest in 2 on the 3rd was won by the medal winner JR Kim. The Longest Drive was won by Hannah Alan after her excellent strike on the 12th hole.
