Joseph claims a hole in one in the members monthly stableford at Abu Dhabi Golf Club
Donovan Joseph savored a stunning hole in one on the back nine of the Abu Dhabi Golf Club to cap a determined fight-back victory in the Monthly Members Rivoli Stableford. Donovan had just 17 points after the front nine, but he stormed home on the back nine to clinch the event over 34 players competing to win Rivoli vouchers and a beautiful piece of crystal.
Finishing with a score of 39 points in the men’s 0-14 Handicap Division, Donovan secured the win over Daniel Venter, who finished the division with 36 points. Donovan held off the pack to score 11 points in the last four holes, including a hole in one on the 165 yard Par 3, 15th.
In the men’s 15+ Handicap Division, J.V. Delos Santos finished with score of 38 points, closely followed by Alan Cook with a score of 37 points.
The Ladies also put up a fantastic battle for the top two slots. Mi Ran Lee finished with a fantastic score of 39 points. Mi also had a strong back nine of 20 points to pull away from Sana Tufail, who finished with a score of 38 points. Mi also won the Nearest the Pin event and Sana won the Longest Drive to complete a memorable day for these ladies.
