Joseph becomes youngest Rosewood Bowl winner at Saadiyat Beach Golf Club
This month’s edition of the Rosewood Bowl Members Medal competition saw some fantastic scores in pristine conditions on the beachfront course at Saadiyat Beach Golf Club.
The golf club congratulated its youngest Rosewood Bowl Champion to date as 14-year-old Griffin Joseph shot an impressive net score of 65 to clinch the title and have his name etched onto the beautiful Rosewood Bowl that sits proudly in the Academy Building lobby.
The rest of the field played well with a few managing to card a net score under par. Joseph was two strokes clear of Ken Johnstone and Ornella Parigi who shot a pair of net 67s for a two-way tie for second place. Both Johnstone and Parigi had been hoping to reclaim the title having won in June 2012 and January 2013, and September 2012 respectively.
Giorgio Parigi took third place with a respectable net score of 74.
