Jolly James is crowned the King of CB&I 4th Philippine Independence Day Golf Invitational

The recently concluded CB&I 4th Philippine Independence Day Golf Invitational organized by Filipino Golfers in the Middle East saw James Martin Yap emerging as the over all Champion with 31 stable ford points. Playing off 11 from a 3/4 HCP allowance, he has maneuvered through the Championship laid out Earth Course with a birdie and three pars. Although it was a day of low scoring amongst the 68 golfers, the nearest competitor is Chris Miller, (Platinum Division 0-13) 7 HCP accumulating 30 points as well.

Completing the winners for Platinum division are Kenneth Hardillo, Arnel Pabitu and Ramon Battung with 28, 26 & 25 point a piece. Vice Consul Gerry Soliguin on behalf of Consul General Benito Valeriano hit the 1st ball on the tee to kick off the ceremony.

Albert Berundang Bedus snatched the Gold division (14 – 19) with 29 points closely followed with Tania Gelasini (28 pts.) consistent Larry Mendoza (27 pts.) and Ruben Jamorra (25 pts)

Michael Tappan from CB&I won the Silver division (20 – 28), with 30 pts, followed by Pritam Mirchandani, Ronald Javier, Chris Burkill and Paul Encarnacion respectively.
