John & Maureen Onuonga with Edoardo & Beatrice Galeppini take Captain’s Drive In at Arabian Ranches Golf Club

Arabian Ranches Golf Club hosted Andy Scanlan & Catherine Hut Captain’s Drive In
4 Player Team Scramble set over the challenging Scanlan’s layout on Friday, 9th September.

The team of John Onuonga (13), Maureen Onuonga (25), Edoardo Galeppini (46) and Beatrice Galeppini (36) returned a fabulous 56.2 to win by 1.3 from the team of Stewart Procter (7), Mazen Qursha (14), Malay Shah (12) and Michael Engelhardt (12). This event welcomed the new Club and Lady Captain  (Andy Scanlan) & Catherine Hut into Office and also thanked the outgoing Club and Lady Captain – Andy Burrow and Adrienne Fullerton whose term in office finishes on this month.

The event attracted a field of 88 players, twenty two teams. Highlights of the winning card were four  4’s at the par 5’s and numerous birdies over the 6,700 yard layout.

Elliott Gray commented “It has been a great day and a great year with Andy and Adrienne in office, they have been tremendous supporters of the Club, Membership, Management and the social calendar of events. We all look forward to another fun filled year with Andy Scanlan and Catherine Hut arriving in to office.
