Joe is from the famous Bronte Sisters’ village of Haworth in West Yorkshire, United Kingdom. He began studying Sport Psychology and Sport Science at Glamorgan University in Wales before deciding to transfer to the Professional Golf Degree with the PGA of Great Britain and Ireland and the University of Birmingham.
Joe turned Professional in 2007 and became a qualified PGA Professional in May 2010. His first 2 years as a Golf professional were spent at Branshaw Golf Club, near to Haworth, where his passion for teaching golf began. In the spring of 2010 he was appointed as a Golf Coach for The Jason Floyd Golf Academies in Madrid and Sotogrande.
In August 2011, Joe began his position as PGA Teaching Professional at Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club and was promoted to Head PGA Teaching Professional in 2013. After joining the team at the Butch Harmon School of Golf in March 2017 Joe has gained a great reputation for helping golfers to perform at the highest level.
