Jeon And Jung Claim Top Medal Prizes

Eui Yong (Jay) Jeon and Young Hoon Jung claimed the top prizes for their respective wins in the Al Hamra Monthly Medal gross and net divisions. Jae carded a 79 for a 5 shot victory from Ian Fada and his round of 84. Jae started solidly, dropping just 2 shots on his outward nine. Unfortunately, his putter went astray on the back nine where he recorded 4 bogies, a double, and a lonesome birdie on the 18th. Taking third place in the gross division was John Kendall on a score of 87.

Young Hoon was the only player in the field to shoot under par following his round of 69. After a rocky start dropping 3 shots in his first 4 holes, Youn Hoon then played the final 14 holes in 6 under without a single dropped shot. The runners-up prize went to Byung Jin Woo on a score of 73 followed closely by Les Arundel who claimed the last of the prizes with a 74. Hawas Elgadafe scooped the entire two’s pot after his fine effort on hole 4.
