Jason Neese Claims Top Prize in Championship Tee Challenge at Al Badia Golf Club

An exceptional performance from Jason Neese saw him claim the Gross Division title in the Championship Tee Challenge held at Al Badia Golf Club on February 10, 2012.

Neese’s round of 79 saw him secure eight pars with two consecutive birdies coming on the 11th and 12th. Bill Buchannon had a particularly good front nine, birdieing both par threes, on route to his score 81 which secured him second place. Steve Kelshaw finished in third place with a score of 82.

In the net division, JW Choi put his golfing skills to the test and prevailed as the winner with a net 69 score. He redeemed his round with a solid back nine achieving three pars. Colin Gow secured a net 73. Playing off his 12 handicap, he grasped the second place title on a count back against Julie Alhemoud. Julie, the only junior in the competition, capped off a fantastic round by claiming the nearest to the pin competition on the 11th hole.
