India Clinch Kohlman Nations Cup at Emirates Golf Club

One of the most popular events on the Emirates Golf Clubs tournament schedule, the Kohlman Nations Cup,  lived up to its reputation.

A huge turnout saw 132 players take to the Majlis course in teams of four all representing their country.
The quartet of Achal Ghai, Shravan Khanna, Ashish Nanda and Burhan Mohamed representing India produced a fantastic winning score of 89 points. Ashish Nanda and Burhan Mohammed combined to contribute 46 of those good enough to take the prize for best 2-man team as well.

India also secured runners-up place due to the efforts of Naveed Manazir, Keith Fernandez, Sunny Mangani and Rahul Yadav with a tally of 83 points. Two points further back in third were Paul Byrne, Frank Duggan, Saeed Fahim and Brian King from Ireland. Teams representing England claimed the third, fourth and fifth place finish all on an 8-under tally of 80 points.

Chris Turlik, Andy Hendry, Nigel Thompson and Tony Azoulay took fourth. Phil Gwilliam, Lloyd Stewart, Tony Hutchinson and Robert Curtis clinched fifth, with Ian Scott, Trevor Varri, Mickey Brigg and Keith Prosser sixth.
