Imran Qayyum & Arun Tuli win Creek Pairs

The Creek Pairs took place at Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club last weekend; this event was a Pairs Betterball Stableford competition of which the top 3 pairs qualified to win a prize as well as two on course prizes being up for grabs. The course was presented in immaculate condition with a full field of over 45 pairs battling it out to be titled the Champion. Scoring was excellent with the players taking advantage of the calm conditions and cooler temperatures.

Claiming the first prize this month was Imran Qayyum & Arun Tuli with an excellent score of 43 points. Their score included a front nine of 22 points where they recorded 4 net birdies! The pair dovetailed well to ensure there were no mistakes on their card leading to a two-point victory over the nearest pair. Second prize was won by the team of Abdullah Al Naboodah & Michael McGinely who finished with 41 points which won on a better back nine score.

As well as the top two prizes there were two on course prizes allowing the rest of the competitors to still have a chance to win a prize on the day. The nearest the pin prizes on the 8th and 14th holes were won by Ailsa Brannock & Rohit Gulati respectively.
