Hunt and Durosette win Abu Dhabi Golf Club second Summer Open
Abu Dhabi Golf Club hosted its second Summer Open this month, in testing weather conditions that saw John Hunt and Jerry Durosette take home the title. The shamble format scoring was excellent on the day.
With a score of 62, Chris Elms’ and Brett Beech’s efforts achieved third place, after winning on a back 9 play-off.
Steven Ord and Paul Marshall played some excellent golf each with a score of 62, clenching second place after also winning on a back 9 play-off.
The 2012 Summer Open title went to Abu Dhabi Golf Club’s own John Hunt, playing with Jerry Durossette of the Emirates Golf Federation, who won by two shots with an exceptional score of 60.
