Hibbert takes Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club Summer Open

14-year-old Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club member Max Hibbert produced a scintillating round of golf in the recent edition of the SGSC Summer Open Golf Championship. In what is Sharjah’s longest running Open event, Max returned a score of 37 points to run out a clear winner by 4 points.

Trailing behind Max was Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club Captain Mukti Rai who’s 33 Stableford points in what is his last event as Captain. Mohan Chidambaram continued his fine form picking up 3rd place also with 33 points. Robert Glenesk won the Division A title with a fine round resulting in a net total of 31 Stableford points. Victorious in Division B was Sultan Mahmood finishing with an impressive 32 points.

Was a day for the youngsters as Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club starlet Zi Ang Xu claimed the gross prize on offer, continuing his good form posted a solid gross round of 33 points.

The final prize on offer was the unofficial handicap division which was claimed by Rianne Sallie who posted 33 Stableford points which ended up being a popular score on the day.
