Hendry and Tufail Defend Emirates Open Junior Golf Crowns

Daniel Hendry and Sana Tufail defended their titles in the Emirates Junior Open over the Faldo course.

Having won the boy’s and girl’s titles last year they repeated the achievement by posting a gross 74 and 75 respectively. Hendry from Emirates Golf Club struggled on his outward nine dropping three shots to par but came home in one under to post a two over 74.

Sana, representing Abu Dhabi Golf Club, was her consistent best and followed her runners-up place in the Ladies Amateur Open last month with top prize in the junior version. At only 14 years of age she has the opportunity to win this prestigious title on three more occasions, a potential five in the row! Dan played in his last Junior Open to make it back to back titles.
