Hall blitzes the Field in Mercure Golf Day at Abu Dhabi City Golf Club
As a way of announcing their forthcoming name change- long time supporters of the City Golf Club, Novotel Abu Dhabi- put on a fantastic Golf Day here under their new brand – Mercure Abu Dhabi.
A full field of 96 lucky Golfers were treated to a fantastic Day’s Golf by Mercure Abu Dhabi and the standard of Golf lived up to the occasion.
In the Individual Event, Sharon Hall and Zillay Ahmed stormed home to 1st and 2nd place with Scores of 39 and 36 stableford points respectively.
In the Hidden Pairs Draw, Medhat El Hammimi (34 Points) and Nigel Gales (28 Points) were drawn together, giving them a winning Total of 62 Points. Mark Hardeman (29 Points) and Nicholas Van Blerk (31 Points) grabbed 2nd Place with a combined Score of 60 Points.
Longest Drives and Nearest the Pin Prizes were won by Diane Armatage, Sharon Hall, Jamal Sahl and Omar Thabet and a Charity Raffle at the Evening Gala Dinner raised AED 5,000 for MSF (Medecins sans Frontieres)
