Gupta wins BMW Rivoli Medal at Emirates Golf Club

In the first BMW Rivoli Medal of the season Rohit Gupta was inspired over the Faldo course and signed for the best gross of the day. He shot a 73, which was also good enough to win Division A (handicap 0-15) with a net 70. His closest challenger for the net prize was Tej Chhabra who carded a level par 73. Eddie Hesson, playing in the same 3-ball as Gupta, challenged him all the way in the gross section, missing out by one stroke and settled for third in Division A following his 74.

Ramneek Datt took the glory in Division B (handicap 16-34) with a 76 followed by Gurmukh Ghuldu one stroke adrift in second and Suresh Shewakramani in third after an 83
