Graham and Corgini La Veranda Outdoor Concepts Champion
Bill Graham posted a brilliant 41 Stableford points to win the Inaugural La Veranda Outdoor Concepts & Designs Golf Day on Saturday, 13th April.
Each competitor used their index as the Tournament handicap allowance taken at the appropriate stroke index holes. This allowance was used to calculate the net score in points, a net score of par 2 points, net birdie 3 points, net eagle 4 points and a net bogey 1 point. Tees, Men – Blue Tees, Ladies – Red.
Graham took full advantage of a perfect day for scoring to post an outward half of 25 points with five net birdies and 2 net eagles on his card. He kept his cool on the back nine where he posted a further 16 points which included three non scoring holes. The Champions total of 41 points gave him the win by five from runner up Mark Evans.

In the Ladies division, Florence Corgini posted a fantastic 39 Stableford points to win by three points from Sheila Alban. Corgini posted nines of 17 and 22 points. The bulk of her scoring was done on the back nine which included 5 consecutive net birdies from the 12th to the 16th hole.
