Gow and Evans twosome take the Honors at Al Badia Golf Club

It was great to see so many players battle the heat producing some distinctive and fantastic scores during the Members and Guest Greensomes Tournament at Al Badia Golf Club on 30th of July

The winning pair was Colin Gow and Phil Evans who created an impressive net 67. With the pair making 12 pars and one birdie, they had a gross 79. Colin also managed to win the longest drive into the wind down 9. The pair had also played 54 holes in 3 days so certainly saved the best until the last.
In second place was the team of Tina Hasper and Suad Ghalib with Net 69.4. These ladies had an impressive gross 89. They mentioned they had never individually broken 90 but in a tough Greensomes format managed to bring the best out of each other.

Geoff Walsh and Steve Stanton settled in the third place after carding a score of net 70.4. The pair was very consistent making 9 pars and only slipping up on the tough 2nd hole with a 7.
John Allen won nearest the Pin on the 11th hole, hitting it to 5 feet.
