Gilliam and Boylan win Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club March BMW Members Guests Social

Peter Boylan and his close friend Anthony Gilliam proved the best partnership on Friday 15th March at the BMW Members and Guests Social played at Sharjah Golf & Shooting Club.

With over 25 pairs battling it out over 2 different pairs formats Boylan & Gilliam came out on top with a great net score of 65.1. However the round was really won with their back 9 net 28, a marvelous effort after a pretty average front 9 score.

Salim Shaikh and Omer Safi scooped the prize for the best front 9, which for this month was played over the Texas Scramble format, a net 33.6 was good enough to win by a clear shot. The back 9 better ball medal was a much tighter affair and two teams tied on a net 30, after the countback procedure it was Sharjah long standing members Vivien Verma and Sanjoy Das who just edged out Sukhia & Tuli.
The day also included a Longest Drive and Nearest The Pin award, these went to Simon Mmutle and Ove Pedersen.
