Geskes takes Centro Sharjah By Rotana Midweek Medal at Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club

Improving lady golfer Catherine Geskes took the recent Centro Sharjah 9 hole midweek medal by storm as she recorded a highly impressive 5 under net 31 to claim the Overall Winners position.

Some hard work on the practice range of late with her coach Joe Marshall worked wonders as she kept a very consistent 9 holes together which also included a gross birdie on the par 3 8th hole.

Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club member Aniket Chitnis was only just beaten as he posted a net 32, four gross pars on the trot from the first hole helped Chitnis storm into an early lead, only to be slightly let down by a double bogey on the 9th hole. His score however was more than good enough to help him pick up the Division 2 prize.

The Division 1 prize went to consistent Korean golfer B.J Kim, a level par round of net 36 was enough to see him finish 2 strokes clear of his nearest division 1 opponent.

All three golfers picked up pro shop vouchers with Geskes also claiming the commemorative trophy to add to her collection.
