Gary Rawlings and Nick Simpson claim the 4th Xerox Corporate Golf Challenge round at Yas Links Abu Dhabi

Xerox Corporate Golf Challenge (XCGC) 2014 held the fourth qualifying round at Yas Links, Abu Dhabi, on Thursday, May 22.

Team Rawsim, comprising Gary Rawlings and Nick Simpson, emerged as winners from among 35 teams, with a total score of 66. In second and third place were team Palmers, Thomas Wiberg and Rune Rasmussen, and team YSoft, Alan Kilminster and Paul Schwarz, with respective scores of 67 (Counterback) and 67.

Special awards for the day were claimed by:
    •    Hole 4’s Sport360 Nearest the Pin: Gary Rawlings
    •    Hole 8’s Ecco Nearest the Pin: Guy Williams
    •    Hole 13’s Crystal Gallery Nearest the Pin: Debbie Betts
    •    Longest Drive Award Ecco Hole 12: John Fahy
    •    
RAK Tourism’s Hole in One prize – 7-night stay at Waldorf Astoria with golf at Al Hamra and Tower Links golf courses remains unclaimed.

The winning team of the fourth qualifier will join the three previous and future qualifier winners in the two-day, 36-hole grand final to be played at Tower Links and Al Hamra golf courses, with stay at Waldorf Astoria, RAK, at the end of the year.

The fifth qualifier will be held at the Almouj Golf Club, Oman, on Saturday, May 31, 2014, and registrations are open on www.xeroxcgc.com. UAE Golf Online is proud to be one of the Media Partners for the event.
