Full house for Angela’s Hit n Giggle at Al Ghazal Golf Club

Following on from Past Captain Peter McManus’ Hit n Giggle the Friday before, AGGC’s Club Manager held her annual event in the form of ‘Dice Texas Scramble’.  Each Team was handed a large plastic dice and the name of the game was to throw it to decide who would have to take the chosen drive on each hole!  This was the chance part of the game.  On certain holes players had to play off different tees and use different types of clubs not usually used for the particular hole.  There was even a trick club used on the par 3 16th hole.  This was fine for right-handed players but the lefties had a difficult time as Angela found out after the game!

The winners of the Friday afternoon’s event were Jeff Lampitt, Richard Whiteside, Keith Sargeant and Murray Brown with a score of 24.5.  Second place went to Mark, Peter, Guillaume and Angela on 25.5 and the DDH trophy went to Phil, Johan, Saleh and Chaya on 31.5.  Nearest the Pin with the ‘trick club’ was won by Anette Rego and the HNG Trophy was presented to Daniel, Henry Steven and Bradley for a misdemeanour that cannot be described!
