Froude and Perrot win Monthly Medal Accolades at Jumeirah Golf Estates
Despite temperatures continuing to rise, the Jumeirah Golf Estates members were out in full force to challenge for the June Monthly Medal honours over the Earth course on a sun drenched day in the desert.
In the Nett Division Alan Froude fired a 4 under par 68 to claim the top honours by a solitary stroke. Finishing as runner-up was Michael Cowley with a nett 69. A further stroke back in third place was Ryan Perkins who returned a nett score of 70.
Bilbo Perrot produced a superb round of 70 to canter to victory in the Gross Division by 9 shots. A tremendous front nine of 34, which included 2 birdies and 7 pars, was complemented by a back nine of 36.
The on course challenges were won by Caroline Lamb, who claimed the longest drive on the 9th hole and Terry Waite following his well judged approach to the front right pin location on the par 3, 17th Hole.
