Fletcher Wheeler Shoots 65 in April Mashreq Medal Championship at Emirates Golf Club Dubai

Fletcher Wheeler scored a best of the day net 65 to win the April version of the Mashreq Medal Championship supported by BMW and Harvey Nichols Dubai.

His seven under par tally over the famous Majlis course earned him top position in Division C (handicap 21-28).  
The scoring was low from the 86 competitors with Vipen Sethi continuing his excellent form with the best gross of the day, a 75. This was also good enough to give him a net 67 and top prize in Division A (Handicap 0-10).

David Waite was three shots adrift in runners-up position after his 2-under par tally of 70 and Ian Scott took third after a 71.
Alejandro Martin carded a 6-under par 66 to clinch top honors in Division B (handicap 11-20), one shot clear of Andrew Robinson and two from Ed Hesson in third.

BMW once more sponsored the par 3 15th hole with a car for a hole in one; unfortunately there was no luck winner.
