Filipino Golfers in the Middle East Clash of the Titans IV Golf event returns
The annual epic saga amongst the fiercest gladiators will take place on the 14th Sept. 2012 in the magnificent course of the Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club.
Members & friends of Filipino Golfers in the Middle East, will bang their swords (clubs) and show their prowess in the annual event and decide supremacy amongst the combatants.
Team Asia has yet to relinquish the crown and having won the event the past 3 years since it was conceptualized in 2009. TEAM The World is eager to put their stamp on the symbolic perpetual trophy this year and emerge victorious with the participation of the best gladiators they have ever produced.
Arnel Pabitu leads Team Asia as its Captain and Rudy Laguna as the Vice Captain. The gallant Peter Menelaou does the tactical moves for Team The World supported by Allan Wilkinson as his deputy. Event is an Order of Merit qualifier and 4th tournament in the FIGME calendar. Similarly, it has been a practice by all the members, friends & patrons to contribute to their adopted foundation in the Philippines called Bantay Bata 163 (Child Watch 163) which primarily aims to clothed, educate, build houses for unfortunate children in the Philippines.
Ramon Navea, Chairman Filipino Golfers in the Middle East will be supported by officers’ Chito Albay, Dan Aforte, Alex Tivi, Vic Liwanag, Roger Corpuz & Brylle Navea to ensure that all combatants are strategically assigned on their posts and complete with their needed battle gears.
Tactical format is individual stable ford & pairs better ball match play with 7/8 HCP allowance. Lots of prizes to be won.
The golf event is presented by Trelleborg Marine Systems FZE, Welcare Hospital / The City Hospital & Seawings. Red Bull is the official energy drink.
