February Yas Links Members ECCO Challenge results

Friday February 21st held one of the busiest days of the year at Yas Links in all areas of the club.  A highlight event being held especially for our esteemed members on a monthly basis is the regarded ECCO Challenge.

Participants gathered from 8:00am – 10:00am for their tee times to compete in the 4 Man team Stableford event where the best two stableford scores out at the end of each hole were to count.

As the scores came rolling in it was clear competition was tight, though to no surprise, regular top contenders were found on the day’s leaderboard. Winning it on the last nine holes with 95 points were husband and wife couples, Andrea and Mark Hartley & Teresa and Alan Sheepwash. In a close second standing, finishing with an impressive 95 points were Gary Tang, Kia Heng Tang, Steven Leo and Prachak Svastisinha. Bragging rights and prizes were presented afterwards on the Hickory’s terrace on behalf of ECCO and Yas Links to the day’s winners.
