Fawaz Takes the Honors in Stableford Monthly Competition at Al Badia Golf Club

Al Badia Golf Club recently held its Member’s Monthly Stableford. The event was played in tough conditions with the high winds.

The overall winner on the day was Dr Nawaf Fawaz who had 39 points in the tough conditions. Dr Fawaz had a steady front nine of 17 point but finished strong with 22 on the back nine including 5 pars and a birdie on the 14th hole.
The winner of division A was Nick Groves. Nick had recently been promoted to the A Division and had 38 points. He also had a better back nine with 6 pars a narrowly missed a birdie putt on the 18th Hole.
Division A Runner up was Lesley Mullen with 33 points. With only 13 points on the front nine Lesley did well to come back with 20 points. It seems like the front nine was playing a lot harder on the day.

Division B winner was Serge Neiger with 35 points. Serge had a solid round of golf which included 6 pars for the 18 handicapper.
Division B runner up was Alex Kim. Alex was also the winner of this month’s Rivoli Monthly Medal and the Luckiest Ball on Earth competition, so he seems to be maintaining his fine form, as he is still in the prizes!
